About Me

My photo
Ritas Art Quilts
I love what I do. Being a fifth generation quilter , I enjoy taking my work to a different level by using paint and mixed mediums to express my personal view, while still honoring the tradition of the past When I work with fabric I am reminded that there are some technical requirements , but my mind is focused on the passion for the process not perfectionism. My ability to convey my vision is being enhanced with new innovative approaches every day, and I am very excited about my future work. Living in Hawaii for many years and now Arizona has definitely influences my work. I love working with images of nature and color. Although I started out as a watercolor Artist, I am always drawn to fabric because of its endless textures and patterns.
